Lambda sensor / blowing exhaust manifold

  1. #1
I have had a blowing manifold on my car for a while and decided to fix it last weekend, anyway sealed it all up and its fixed a problem that i had with sticky revs which i am assuming was something to do with the lambda getting dodgy readings or something because it was blowing. Anyway it still sticks a tiny bit now and then i'm wondering if my lambda sensor could be damaged as its been running badly for such a long time? could it be sending dodgy readings to the icv?

Take your lambda sensor out & have a look at the colour of it,should be a chalky/white colour(not black)

will have a look at it, may try running it with the lambda disconnected too see if it solves the problem
