possible alloy change

i have a 1.1 desire and i currently have matte black vtr alloys on it. next stage is lowering it 50mm but im debating maybe changing the alloys to some vts alloys? just wondered what everyone else thought?

Depends how cheap you can get them. I prefer the VTR alloys but thats just me. I suppose they will help to fill the arches.

i think 50mm is a good choice btw. im sitting @ 40mm for the time being on 15's & although it never scrapes (been on ferries/low loaders) i wish it was slightly lower.

VTS rims would look odd on a flatarch IMO. Have a look at Pug rims too, there are some nice ones out there that you might find cheap. And you might find the odd gem that might not be everyone's immediate choice...

I picked up a set of five Ford RS's with decent rubber the other day, for £60. Waiting on some spacers and then they'll be going on

    205's

but like has been said, lowering is far more important at this stage in the game
