induction kit

   got an induction kit on saterday and the seller said it would fit but it needs an adapter to fit the MK1 1.1 air box does anyone know where i can find one of these
   
   its an oval to circle adapter if thats any help.

   you got any pics mate and what do you mean fit to airbox induction kits should fit straight to your throttle body???????????

   my induction kit looks identical to teh one above, but your engine bay looks different to where my air box is, mine didnt go into the manifold/heat sheild thing. is that just somthing on the eastcoasts? :s

   thats the air intake to cool down the manifold

   the pipe wont fit your engine as you have the old engine but if you take out your airbox the filter itself will fit on there otherwise take it back where you got it from and find one for your car

   Had the same problem with my mk1 1.1.
   
   What you do is take the full air box off as either put ur induction kit on upside down or buy a U tube to join onto your throttle body and then put ur kit onto that.
   
   Simple if you know what a mean?

    this is exactly what you need to do. i had mine upside down on my spi

    what i did when i had my spi, was like above but leave the old box on so filter was inside it thus reducing heat soak :-)
