Rear axel camber

   Noticed my rear wheel on the passenger side is cambered,
   My dad jacked it up and had a look and said there's a tiny bit of play in the rear wheel, done some research and found it could be bushings but others say it could be grit in the beam that has destroyed it, could anyone give a definite answer
   Don't know if this is any help but here's a picture of the rear

   I'd say its the Roller bearings/pins on the trailing arm.
   
   Refurb it, or get a new one.

   That does look like quite a lot of camber. Must be a reasonable amount of play there i'd have thought? They do wear out over time anyway, but when people lower them and don't put the dust/dirt seals back in properly etc dirt and water gets in and ruins the bearing and stub pin at a much faster rate.

   Got drums instead of discs.
   
   If you're putting it onto a VTR, you'll need to change the Brake lines and handbrake cables.

   Just wondering because there's only 1 vtr I can find with a rear axel breaking and it's lowered, dunno if I want to take a chance.

   Isnt 1.1 axle shorter aswell?

   its the stub pins in the centre part of the axle that wear so you could use a 1.1 beam and put your original arms back onto that with a new bearing kit. Bearing kit is around £50 so its upto you, either do that or get a vt beam which is less work.

    Wouldnt myself looks unsafe. Suppose people "manage" till they can get new ones.

    mines not quite as bad as that but not far behind :/. i've been running around for a week now doesnt seem to be getting worse but i cant do anything, i need the car to run around till i get anoither axle, which is hopefully this weekend.

    If its rubbing the arch then its dangerous to drive.
    
    If you can get away with not driving it then good but if not, I doubt the wheel is going to fly off unless the play is really bad.

    No its not rubbing mate, the play ain't bad either, just noticed when I was checking the bushing ect yesterday that it had a lot of camber
