got a problem and a querie

   first of all i have just bought a saxo mk1 vts and everytime i open the doors the alarm goes off i have no fob for the car just a key how can i stop it or should i just remove the alarm ?
   
   also i was thinking of putting the mk1 vts engine into my other saxo (mk2 furio) will this be difficult with one being a mk1 and the other being a mk2 and is ther any other parts i will need to buy to make it work ?

   yes you could swap the engine. but at same time you will need the engine loom and interior loom and the mk1 vts clocks. also you will need to use the vts gearbox, driveshafts, brakes. it can be done as you have both cars but basically you need to swap almost everything

   could i just not leave the 1400 box and shafts in and use the engine n looms ?

   you could use the 1.4 box and yeah i guess so with the shafts. but yeah the full loom needs swapping (not fun) lol. but whilst you do that strip out the sound deadening and firewall, strip some weight haha.

   i done a vtr conversion and had to change the full loom. whilst keeping in the back seat as its needed but all carpet and carpet underlay, all sound deadening, and the firewall have all gone stealth stripped ftw lol
