Service indicator: From 4500 to 0 in a week?!

  1. #1
Bit of a strange one... Last week, my service indicator was showing I had 4500 miles due until my next service. Tonight, I noticed the spanner showing next to the time. Turned the ignition on and off and the service indicator is showing 0.

What could have caused this? I definitely haven't done 4500 miles in the last week

You sure it was not 450 mate? On saxo's if your service is due in 451 miles it will show 450, but if it 449 it will say 400. Make sense?

Definitely 4500 mate... I think the indicator starts showing way before 0 anyway, so would have noticed if it was getting a bit low.

Update... Looks as though it resets to 0 once it has covered 12500 miles OR it has been a year since the last service. I would imagine it's the latter.

    Manuals come in handy
