Interior footwell/rear arch tar removal

    What are peoples recommendations for those of us wanting rid of it but not lucky enough to own a heat gun?

    Tar removal - lots of Tardis/Tar X etc.??

    Same as what I was thinking there, just need to know the best product that will definitely get it off with the least effort

    probably AutoSmart Tardis or Tar X.

    I was going to suggest a hairdryer on a low heat setting.

    I think a hairdryer would work, if you could be arsed as it would take ages

    once the tar is off tardis works a treat!

    hmm so the tardis wasnt enough on its own and just letting it soak in?

    yeh i wann be doing the same mate but was guna sugest a hairdryer and alot of elbow grase lol

    save your time, ask about, someone must have a heat gun

    hmm didnt realise they were that cheap, the ones ive seen were around the £50 mark! Ill pick one up and some chemicals

    You can pick heatguns up pretty cheap now tbh but if not i'd try a hairdryer and a scraper.

    Mine just caught fire while i was welding so i quickly scraped it off as it burned lol
