Important! : Saxo driver and passangers doors

Hi I've just had both door guards off the car and notice the reason for the doors not staying open ' is because the hinge that goes throw to the inside of the door ain't catching on nothing wots so ever .. And I think it's pop off that look like a metal clip that ment to hook on to the hinge am i right peeps how can I solve this thanks any 1

if the door straps have been snapped, you will need to replace them with new ones

ok so how can i tell if they have snap????? .when i insert my finger in door to left of hinge there like a metal thing with a square clip that moves left and right my ten mill bolts are there still and there no broken parts in the botton of door thanks ..
