my leaking problem (pics)

    ever since i bought my saxo iv noticed this oil leak, its realy annoying and excuse the rocker cover because i made a mess of it. i just want a bit more information on this part of engine. will i need to remove cams or not to re seal this? are these stretch bolts and does anyone have size? do these bolts reach the head? and any other experince in doing this and tips for me can you please share. thnx guys

    The part where it is leaking from is the cam ladders. People that have sealed them leaving the belt on and not removing the cams, by doing one at a time and really really carefully, ie still locking the cams in position etc i'd imagine. I removed mine however as i was fitting aftermarket cams so it didnt really affect me, just an excuse to do the cambelt etc at the same time, has yours been done? Also the bolts do not reach down into the head, iirc mine were hex bolts (m6 thread maybe?; few months ago now!)

    cheers mate, yh tbf i was gonna do timing belt and water pump and tensioner all together

    is the belt hard to do? it doesnt look too bad but then i havent had a good luck, whats the space like as in can i get my spanners and hands in?

    It's not too hard to to do, put a jack under the engine to support the weight and remove the engine mount, gives a lot more room. If you've changed timing belts on cars before you'll appreciate these arent too problematic.

    Iv done a couple, but never twin cam, cheers for the advice mate will do that thnx
