Important! : air bag resistor???

   Ive just fittted a new steering wheel and now my airbag light is on, i read somewhere that u can use a resistor to take it off. Ive had a look but cant find it again, does anyone know what resistor i need to buy? cheers

   By a new steering wheel I take it you mean a sports steering wheel?If so remove your upper & lower steering column shrouds.Then you`ll find an orange cable that plugs into your airbag contact ring,the dashboard side will be a female connector.Simply take a 2ohms resistor(cut the legs down to the right length)then insert 1 leg into each side of the connector,then put a piece of insulation tape over the top to hold it in place.

   I jus asked for a 3 ohm resistor from mapin n it worked a treat :-)

   i used a 3ohm resistor from maplins for under my seats
