Whirring/whineing noise?

   Hi guys my vts has now developed another problem.
   
   It has started makeing a strange wirring/whineing noise when driving.
   Its the same in all gears im thinking input shaft bearing or similar?
   Ive now owned the car two years and had no problems up until a few months ago i have spent nearly as much as i paid for the car fixing these .
   The engine is now on 104.00m maybe look for a new engine?

   I know it's probs a bit late but it sound to me like it's you're clutch release bearing (Y)

   I had a similar thing happen to my VTR a while back. It would make a horrible noise above about 25MPH but it went when i was not in gear. It turned out to be the driveshafts. Not sure if this is the same problem here.

   could also be a wheel bearing on its way but i'd probably say its either clutch release bearing or input shaft bearing does it make the noise when its in neutral too and stationary? if so it'll be either one of these bearings if not looks at dirveshafts and wheel bearings

   i had this problem with my last vtr
   
   i thought it was a wheel bearing but my clutch went about a week later
   
   see if there is any history of a new clutch on your car
   if not then id say change it before it does go.
   
   i recommend a valeo clutch

   Most likely your drive shaft buddy. Replaced mine in an afternoon.

   this is happening with the other halfs vtr.
   
   in the last 6 months its had 2 new drive shafts. A new clutch and is on the 3rd gearbox...
   
   makes almost a growling noise when driven, but take it out of gear and its silent....
   
   ideas?
