Vtr mk2: Rolling road tommorrow....Now with graphs and video

  1. #1
My car is being put on the rollers tommorrow. It's a mk2 Vtr with 140k miles on the clock lol. Modifications are as listed: Supersprint 4-2-1 manifold with racetube and 3" peco rear silencer, Carbon CDA induction kit, and a remap. Any guesses on the max bhp output?. Im guessing 110bhp tbh, no idea on the torque tbh , . Il post up the graphs tommorrow

depends totally on how well its been looked after and how forgiving the rollers are

Well whilst i have owned it its had regular FULL servicing, before me it had 1 lady owner

So how did it get on?

Not as well as i thought, its running 105bhp and 153nm torque, im very hapy with the torque figure and the bloke said that my power curve is very smooth and that his rollers are 'unforgiving' lol. That said a volvo s60 R ran before me and it read 285 bhp and they are supposed to be 300bhp , il post the graph up in a sec, and a video aswell

7bhp more than standard from breathing mods is pretty decent tbh
although i bet it would have done better with a raceland/simota induction kit.

ive never really been a fan of the bmc

He did say that tbh, he seemed to think the vtr standard airbox with panel filter can see better gains than the one ive got lmao
