Had this problem on a cheap alarm but this can happen to any alarm. The best thing to do if you can get to it is to pull the main wiring harness from the alarm box that the only was of temp stopping it. When you say immobiliser is it a remote car start feature? if it is then this means its a faulse start as something stopped the alarm from from starting the car, the way i got past this was to unlock the car and put the key in the ignition. Try changing the battery in the fob first this could cause the fault.

oh lol sorry looked at your display picture and was a saxo so thought it was that. Dout the breakdown recovery will help as they will probs get you in touch with an auto electrican. Unplugging the battery wont do anything as they have a backup battery built in the alarm box to keep running incase someone cut power to the car in an attempt of break in. Get yourself a multimeter and test the battery. if your sitting on 12v your battery is fine anything under then your batter is going flat. look under the dash if you can or take the steering column off as these tend to be the two places they keep the boxes. Once found pull out all the harnesses connected to the alarm box but remember were they go again. Then put the battery lead back on and try and start the car. This was their is no alarm to bypass through first. When its an alarm and imobiliser kit the imobiliser bit has no purpose to new cars just old. Aso before imobilisers you could hot wire cars, which did require a relay to bypass the system. However its built into the alarm loom and box incase your putting the alarm on an old car. Do the above first if you can otherwise call al mobile auto electrican as these guys will help as they have some knowledge with all kinds of brands. Or speak to MR TOAD here on sax-p as he is a qualifed TOAD technican and a good one two he will tell you streight away whats up here is the link to his profile:
