Important! : mk1 saxo bunny hopping all the time

    my saxo is bunny hopping in every gear i have changed the sparks and the ignition leads does anyone know what else it is likly to be?

    checked the fuelling?? what did the spark plugs look like when you removed them?

    possibly dirty or blocked fuel filter.

    remove and replace it. chuck some red-ex in aswell.

    get some throttle cleaner as well and give that a go. When i had this problem funny enough it was loose earth

    the sparks were a little bit sooty but not to bad will try the fuel filter

    loose earth is a good shout. give the ones in the engine bay a good scrub up with some sand paper and check to see if they are tight etc.

    where are the earth points on it?

    main ones are on the right hand side of the engine block next to the battery.

    the battery (of course)

    alternator itself.

    and once just above the gearbox that all im aware of.

    I have this exact problem. I've changed plug, leads, coil pack, crankshaft sensor, timing belt, air filter with still no change
