Right was going over the saxo again tonight getting it sorted for the road again, and noticed a rusty bubble so decided to see how bad it was and, well i just stuck my finger through the wheel arch :/

first off, will it pass and MOT its tiny smaller than a 10p

secondly the car isn't on the road so would i be able to strip the paint back with a wire wheel and remove any rust then braze some steel plate over the hole (don't have a proper welder) then repaint the bits that are rusted and re-under seal the arch

just wire brush it, hammerite and braze a bit of metal over it,, will pass.

border line fail, in general it should but its not really within 12" of any steering/suspension/seat belt mount so may get an advise. As for brazing, well if the tester is an arse he could fail it,as brazing isn't considered strong enough for structural repairs

as it is, it will fail.

tbf a bit of a bodge but if m.o.t is soon you 'could' mix up some filler in a ball. get some dirt and spinkle it ontop. place it in the hole a little more dirt. and if done right will just look like a clump of mud untill you can get it repaid properly.

not saying you should or that it's work

failing that black duct tap lol

Lol great, cheers all will try and get it welded before the mot might as well do it properly

Any one weld in the midlands, mobile as its not taxed or insured
