the inner cv boot has gone, was wanting to know how much it would be to get te repair at a garage so i can get a price in my head, its just leaking grease so needs a new boot and labour,
how much to replace Cv inner boot?

#2a good hour i would have thought.
it's the whole shaft out. taking the cv joint off. new boot on rebuild it back up box oil ect.
i'd expect to pay around £75 all in -
#4Brand new shaft is £70-95 so it would be worth your while getting a new shaft and doing it yourself. Isn't to hard if you have someone to push the breaks while your undoing the nut on the driveshaft. Just make sure to drain the gearbox first or your drive will be covered in oil!

Easy enough job. Done it on my last saxo but I didn't drain the gearbox
was covered in oil

#8id just get a whole new shaft mate saves all the messin about and ul get one for around 80 quid thats what i paid for mine from like gsf i think
