egr/air pump removal

   done a search and cant find what im looking for, so wondering if someone can help
   
   what do people use to blank the hole in the side of the head when they remove the egr/air pump thing?
   
   think i read somewhere about using a pound coin?
   
   any help appriciated

   I got some ally strip from B&Q then cut a bit off that, two holes, bit of sealant and done.

   did you use any sealent or anything like that? seams a better idea as its then able to go back to standered

   Yeh, Bit of silicone sealant, been fine for a couple years now.
