Important! : Steering rack cover!

   Hi guys, having trouble changing the steering rack cover, its the rubber one on the end of the rack, the old one had been splitting for ages, the new one just won't push on, any ideas?

   Anybody? My car now has no steering rack cover, which means I cant really drive anywhere :/

   hi mine was split aswell i took it off cleaned up then put strong tape round it where it was split then pushed it over where it sits and used a cable tie to hold it on. its been fine for the last year. i found it easyer doing it through the wheel arch, think thats how i did it, was a while ago lol.
