i went today to test drive a VTS saxo and when i started it up i could hear what sounded like running water behind the dash. the floors were dry and engine ran sweet as a nut.
i really liked the car and this is the only one thing bugging me, can anyone share any light on this?

    Does it have aircon?

If it lacks refrigiant it can also cause water like sounds from the heaters...
