brake bias valve adjustment?

  1. #1
My car is lowered approx 50mm all around on the apex kit maybe a bit more on the back, anyway the brakes seem ok usually but i hadto emergency stop the other day and the back end locked up before the front did and my rear pads seem to be wearing down pretty quick compared to the front aswell. wondering if this is my brake bias valve as it didn't get touched when the car was lowered. if so how do i adjust it and by how much?

    Thanks as always

Tbh I didn`t know you could adjust them, only free them up if they get stuck which is what might be happening.

Then the bit you want to adjust is the part marked number 3. Its a bit trial and error to be honest, no-one can say "wind it in 4 turns" or something if you get me? Free it all off, adjust it a bit and try it, if its not right adjust it a bit more etc. Obviously take it easy until you know its right.

this is correct but you need to loosen it as lowering has the same effect as putting a heavy load in the back free it off and undo part 3 a couple of turns
