Its not for an ecosse one but the theory should be the same.

I'm still a bit confused with the different types, the units seem to be different.

This one here seems to be the same as the Ecosse one but cheaper. This probably who supplies Ecosse with the parts.

I've got a TAS quickshit (same as GMC sell) and it's awesome. The best thing about that one is that you replace the standard plastic ball in the shifting mechanism and that makes it feel so much better. No more floppy gear stick, just nice *click-clack* shifting. You don't get that with the ecosse item, that only makes the throw shorter.

And did you have to bin the centre console Fred?
  20. #20
i fitted this one on saturday its pretty good for £23 from Griffiths Engineering:thumbup:

i assume u buy the 106 part? do you need the gear linkage rod too?
  22. #22
yeh for 106 and thats all you need mate
  23. #23
No I assume you use the standard linkage unless you wanna buy some rose-jointed ones which would be ideal..
  24. #24
    whats the difference mate?
  25. #25
Ones made of stirdy metal and the standard part is all plastic and shoddy! I wouldn't bother converting unless you are really hammering your gearbox..

Nope, you can keep it looking totally standard.

Tas style quickshift as already mentioned.
Basically alters the pivot point of the gear stick allow you too adjust the throw as long or as short as you want it.
Nice and crisp, although to get a very short throw I had to take the exhaust heat shields off as they were in the way.

Takes about 30 mins max to change over.
