Two seperate questions here..
First is this plug, located up in the pannel beside the hazards etc, 3 wires going to it, as illustrated. Whats this for? its in a mk1 vtr

And secondly, this small plug, one half is located up around where the CD player goes, mounted underneath abit of plastic. The plug that i have plugged into it comes from the floor loom, not far away from the p/s side of the gearstick. 2 small wires into each side. The part close to the cd player appears to come off the same loom that the alarm goes in to, and when i plug this in, i get power to the ignition lights etc when the key is not in, however unplugged, the car wont start just turns the starter but wont fire. What is it? (pulled it from where it should be, to get a better pic)
