Cuple of quick questions :)

    1st is my heater only works in number 3? 1&2 do nothing any ideas?

    2nd is, i fitted my momo steering wheel today and the indicaters wont self cancel now, will this work if i put my airbag ring back in?

    Also how do i get my airbag light to go off without removing the bulb

    1st have no idea bout

    2nd has the boss kit got a metal bar on left side? if it hasnt this is why they dont self cancel

    3rd is to hook up a reisitor to the airbag wiring to steering wheel, this subject is asked all to often at the mo including by myself so the detail of that are all over this site.

    1, i have same problem. does your rear window demister work? and does your PAS work?

    2. standard wheels have this type of clip that when turned other way it clicks the arm off, commonly broken when steering lock is snapped.

    If the demister & pas are working then the heater problem is probably down to either a faulty heater switch or the resistor pack in the heater unit.

    where is the heater unit located?

    I got the steering wheel and boss kit from a saxo in the scrappys, ther was an upside down screw sollotaped onto the bottom of the boss kit which i took off, now guessing the guy who had it had made this because of the same problem lol

    When you sit in the drivers seat & look at the heater vent on the right,the heater itself is attached to the ducting behind that vent.You don`t have to remove the dash to remove it.Hers how to remove it.

    Remove upper/lower steering column shrouds.

    Open the bonnet & remove the wiper arms.

    Then remove the wiper motor,after you`ve removed the wiper motor you`ll see 2 nuts holding the heater motor on.

    Working inside the car remove the plastic vent on the right,then behind the dash remove the ducting from the vent.

    Then remove the wiring harness from the heater motor.

    Finally undo the nuts supporting the motor & lower it down.

    Easiet & cheapest way to do it because the resistor packs on there own can be expensive,where as a blower motor unit can had quite cheaply.
