My wife's 99 sx has developed a 'knocking' that can be felt through the brake pedal when when braking. Can anyone shed any light on what could be causing this?
could be lots of things, like wishbone strut caliper anything thats attatched to the front wheels, take it kwikfit for free brake test they might notice it and give you an idea what it is

knocking / vibrations / anything noticed through the pedal is 9 out of 10 times warped discs.
could be bearings, could be callipers.

Mine knocked a little but was due to the disks being rusty due to the car not being used much
