seat belt pretensioners

   hi all, if i put a resister in the orange cable under seat to turn my airbag light off will it still come on with ignition then go out for the mot?

   If you stick it on the right cable then it should yeah.
   
   I am in the same position, I have the resistors but there are two sets of cables under each seat, one set with a blue clip and the other set I had to cut but im not sure which one to put the resistor on.....don't want to end up triggering the other airbags!

   yes it will come on and then go off as it normally should
   My car only has the one orange cable under the seat as do most. I think he ^ might be referring to airbagged seats in mk2 vts's having more than one cable.

   Yup mine is a Mk2 VTS.
   
   I don't mind trying both cables but the last thing I want to do is trigger the other airbags lol.
