Airbag light fault help!

   Basically when i turn my engine on the airbag light stays on for roughly 10 seconds then goes off then about 10minutes into the engine being on, the airbag light comes back on and stays on. How can i fix this/ is it MOT failure?

   Will likely fail an MOT but depends how they test it, may get away with it if it goes off for 10 minutes as im not sure how they test it.
   
   Do you have an aftermarket steering wheel or bucket seats?
   
   If not, its likely the orange wires under the drivers or passenger seat. Locate the clips, unplug them and plug them back in.

   The car is completely standard 1.1i bought it 4 days ago whilst on the 15minute test drive it did not come on problem started 2 days ago i will try the wires thankyou
