Pilar on door next to rear window

   hi
   i went to see a 3door saxo today, and i noticed that on both doors there was a thick black tape pretty badly stuck on, on both doors too just wondering whether there are any known problems in this area? or something i should be looking for because of it?
   
   i had a quick search to see whether i could find anything and there were no results
   any help or advice much appreciated

   a lot of saxos have it. mine doesn't. its just vinyl to blend the windows together

   it was on a black saxo too , is it easy to replace? or if i take it off, guessin just heat it up? paint shouldnt be expected to be damaged?

   if it is the vinyls would proberly just take them off since its a black car

   there is a chance you could damage the paint. it might lift the laquer off. though saying that i take protective vinyl off brand new cars every day without heat and haven't damaged any paintwork yet. just use some heat to be on the safe side
