Its easy enough to do tbh.

Just make sure you get the right vinyl. I used to work with the higher grade hexis stuff.

what would you recommend to use? what equipment would i need? im not sure if i want carbon wrap or gloss back? my outside trims are gloss black?

Carbon is easy to work with as its very thick. Just be wary when heating it as you can stretch the weave so you end up with pissed weave all over the place.

We used to apply dry instead of wet (some prefer to apply wet) then a felt covered squeegie and a good knife for cutting the vinyl.

Also heat is needed to bake the vinyl - A hairdryer can pass but generally people use heat guns for paint stripping (careful you dont melt the stuff)

Hexis bubble free we generally worked with as it was much more workable than the cheaper stuff.

You would need a very sharp blade, hair dryer/heat gun, Tack cloth, spirit wipe or strong solvent, felt squeeeegy and a friend.

As said buy the best quality you can afford makes the job a hell of a lot easier. just remember take your time and be very very clean in a wind free non dusty place if you can.

Personally wouldnt bother, it cheapens the car and looks terribly tacky.
