handbrake light on then no brakes at all?|?

    had handbrake light on for few days now..,.any reason it comes on...i now have had brake failure and have no pedal at all, which was a bit scary any ideas? also the brake fluid reservoir is still full... can it be pads?

    With the ignition switched off pump the brake pedal,does it go hard?

    you have a brake fluid shortage. probably due to a perished pipe or burst cylinder. leave car parked up and look around brakes for unusual wet patches!!

    Silly question but do you still have brake pads on? I blew my pads off on my old VTR and caused me to have no brakes.

    looking through caliper the pads are still there... i mean no brake at all here!

    Open your bonnet remove the cap from the brake reservoir,switch the ignition on & pump the brake pedal whilst someone looks at the fluid in the reservoir.If the fluid is being pushed upwards then the master cylinder needs replacing.

    I had this on my old furio. The rear pass side slave cylinder had died
