Mig welder

   Need a mig welder
   
   What should I get?
   It needs to be able to weld structural plates to chassis
   Like weld in cages plates?
   
   Reccomendations??
   Budget around 200/100
   Don't mind second hand?

   get a mig u can do most things with one and if u want a arc u can get them for about £50 new so y not both

   yeah mig dont get a gas less one as they are absolute shite, sip are average but im used to a £2500 miller so wouldnt recommend anything else, would you travel as my dad has a 160 amp sip which he no longer uses ??

   clarke ftw their welders are brilliant for the price.
   
   dad has a 150t had it for years never let us down. use to weld to quite thick steel aswell. no idea why he bought an sip one they are shite imo i muchly prefer the clarke one

   Just bought a Clarke 135te
   What gas should I use?
   Co2? Argon? Mixed?

   iirc it's argon that gives the best results.
