   Hi my girlfriends 1.4 furio engine is knackered and i would like to know how easy it would be too swap the engine for a good running 1.4furio engine?
   is there any issuses with ecu, immobiliser,injectors etc?

   it should be a straight swap. you won't have to change the ecu so no need to worry about the immobiliser

   oh if your near london there is a place where you can hire lifts and stuff look up a place like that

   thanks for help i would have thought there may have been problems with the ecu or something like that but if not job should be done on saterday!!!

   another quick question any difference with the vtr and 1.4 gearbox? as i will be putting a vtr gearbox on the engine

   The ratio`s are different but any saxo,106 or AX gearbox will fit & work.

   There's places all over you can hire stuff from. If you're up North then Lord Tool Hire rent out engine hoists for £25 a day / £42 a week or something.

   Iirc hss hire engine hoists for 19 a day and 32 for the week. Most branches have to order them in for you from there main hub.
