Just Had the company who i have ordered my wheels from saying that 7.5J wide wheels are to wide
I told him he was talking shit and they will run fine, Am i right

    they should be fine.

    what are the offsets?

i had a set of 7j rims with offset et11 and had no problems with 195 50 15 tyres lowered 40mm.

Fuck knows, They are Team Dynamic Pro Race 3's

maybe you should find out dimensions of the wheels before buying?

    would make sense.
  5. #5
They will fit but will sit flush with the arch on the right offset
  6. #6
need to find out the offset to see how spaced they sit
the fella could be right lol

if the offsets not ridiculous then 7.5 isnt too big at all. People have run 9j before on saxos

I've got 8j with 20mm spacers (15mm further out than they should be IIRC) which will give me an offset of around 0

This is my first post, and probably the most important. I've been lurking like mad on here checking progress threads and I have landed myself some 9J revolution 3 piece splits.

Bodywork wise I can make them fit, dad's a car body repairer. In terms of caliper clearance with 20mm spacers running 266mm and I don't know the exact ET, I can only assume it is quite low, would I clear the calipers or would I need wider spacers?

    They are 15" mate.

I just want advice really, I want it to look as OEM as possible! I think the ET is fairly low, maybe 7 or so.
