Gti Leathers

  1. #1
Just bought myself a set of half leather interior however i've came across a wee problem.
As the saxo had a full bench and the Gti is split 60/40 I don't have the bolts to secure it down. Does anyone know what size of bolt i need?

The holes are there just can't see them as it isn't lined up properly

If you fit your rear bench and leave the seats like that then they are still stable and sit properly..

When i fitted leathers in my quiksilver the bolts snapped when i undoing them so had to leave it unbolted.. Aslong as you fit the rear bench properly then you'll be fine !

    Serouis lol..

They clip in at the rear so that holds them in place and the rear bench holds it more place..

Some one sits on it means there leaning back on it, don't see how it's going to move anywhere lol

Awesome. Remind me never to be a passenger in your car. FFS man, not bolting your seats in? It's an MOT fail apart from anything else which invalidates your insurance, never mind making you the laziest cunt ever for not buying and fitting 2 bolts.

So your Seats are not bolted in properly?

What about you wheels, engine? Or did you some of those too....

"I know I could Bolt my engine properly, but I don't need to bolt this one, the other 2 bolts will hold it in"

"I don't need all four bolts on my wheels, the other 3 will hold it in fine"

If you can find a VTS bracket then they'd fit i reckon. The VTS rear bench is also split 60/40.

I fitted Gti leathers to my VTR years ago, also left them unbolted but never had anyone sat in the back so wasn't a problem to me though
