A question for those of you with air tools/compressors

I'm looking to buy an air compressor mostly to power an impact wrench and possible a few other tools like spray guns and drills.

Anyway i have been asking around and not really got a straight answer off any1 as to what kind of compressor i would need to be able to power these tools with regards to what tank size and horsepower, cfm output and so on.

so if you have air tools what compressor do you run them on?

sorry if this isn't the right section just didn't know where to put it..

    cheers

    you'll need atleast a 150 ltr tank with a 3 hp motor.

go to machine mart and get a clarke compressor. iirc the 2nd one we bought were a 200ltr tank and 3 hp motor were around £550

this would be perfect as it's slow running so doesn't always keep kicking in and out.

also hard wire it to a seperate rcd unit through a caravan power plug

we also have another compressor similar to this

does the job for air tools but the tank just isn't really big enough and you can tell when the pressure drops.
