Suggestions for mk2 vtr?

   im going to buy a blue vtr on friday, after having to run around in a 206 since my last had to go to car heaven car is 100% standard, all it needs is the wing mirror covers, interior is immaculate, standard cd player, body kit is solid, no rust what so ever, airbag light flashes but will be joining wires under seats soon. but the big problem is; is standard......
   
   so any suggestions on subtle mods for now?
   in future i do plan on removing carpet and trying to use an aluminum style material to replace it, lower but not to the point of destruction, hid lights (i know nothing about them so any advice appreciated), brake upgrade (406 coupe have been recommended?) and the obvious ICE upgrade (dvd head unit, hopefully infinity speakers all round with a nice 800w sub).
   
   all suggestions appreciated, will try upload pictures of it as it is before i give it the full polish and valet (recoomended polish??)

   recommend a brand or are all essentialy the same?
   never modified a car yet so newbie TTM.

   umm well i have a green cotton one but k&n or bmc are kl they all do the same mate tbf just dont get an induction cus you sill watch your fuel gauge move while driving and also do exhaust if you can

   ive got a powerflo centre/backbox in one but its for a 106 so it sits dodgey, also a powerflo s/s backbox but its a cut and join job.
   been recommended a 4-2-1 manifold and any s/s system, just curious about lambda, does it bring codes up? hate to have EML on constantly.

   well ive got 4-2-1 and custom weilded pipe to a scorpion and i noticed a fair diffrence and my eml is on but there is a couple of ways to get off such as sleves but dont ask me where they go lol or a garage could probs turn it off or just take the light out for mot thats what i will probs do. and supersprint are great exhausts and sound nice aswell

   i work in a garage so for mot im sure my tester could "look past" the EM light
   looking at a full sportex system, resonable price, decat e.t.c, but not sure on performance, no figures
   just dont want a dash looking like a christmas tree so maybe sports cat?

   oh thats lucky haha and umm performance depends on your engine obv and you will only get the eml and i dont even notice it anymore tbf and you could if you have a spare £300

    I have a green cotton panel filter and poopersprint manifold with a magnex which is quiet until you flex the toe and sounds alright but wanting a saxsport now. Just feel the magnex is too big and i want a bit of rasp. Miss it now the GTI is off the road

    I think the posi blue R's look smart standard

    aye its got a normal tailpipe, not even the vt chrome tip
    change of wheels, lowered and exhaust first steps to a happy saxo.
    will post some pictures of it once its all polished up

    then you got some spray optons. Calipers . Alloys. Sde strips and bumper strips. Rocker cover etc would look swell with all that
