knocking noise when changing gear??

   any ideas?? one person telling me one thing an another is telling me something different??

   I dont know much about cars but I get this sometimes and I get it when going over bumps and turning left, been told its my wish bone or bearing but dont know why that would affect gears

   I used to get it when I changed gear without depressing the pedal on the left?
   
   can you describe the noise some more?
   
   It could be a loose gearbox mount?
   Worn gearbox components?
   Worn driveshaft CV joints?
   Something else

   Thanks for you posts I'm goin to change the gear box mount first and go from there I will keep u posted
