knocking

   im getting a knocking sound from my driver and passenside front wheels when im going over speed bumps/uneven ground, im not verry mecanical so im just grasping at straws as to what it is. Is it the shocks? or track rod ends? any ideas? its only when on bumps not when im turning or on flat surface.

   Drive shaft. Turning left on my car ?
   
   Jack it up (both wheels off the ground) and let it tick over in first gear and see if it rattles.

   Dont leave it on the jacks, put axel stands under it! lol
