Car pops out of gear?!?

   Right it's not as horrific as it sounds but since I bought the car it's done it a few times especially at traffic lights I engage first let the handbrake off and it just pops out! All the rest of the gears are fine just first it does it! Any ideas what causes it???

   my 1.4 west coast does this, i paid £150 for it mind, so don't really care and haven't looked into it.
   my dad who's into race bikes and old fords (notably not saxo's) said it was probably because its been launched a lot from high revs, apparently a common problem with classic scoobs

   Linkages or perhaps engine/ gearbox mounts. the sort of thing I would look at first.

   Check the linkages as a first step mate.
