mk1 and mk2 vtr engines

   what is the difference? i know the cat is on the manifold on the mk2 but what got moved or changed so this was able to happen?
   
   reason im sayin is i got a mk2 engine to go in my mk1 and im keepin my own exhaust and stuff..will it go straight in or do i have to get a mk2 manifold and all that shit?

   mk2 has got more power 98 bhp

   im pretty sure the oil filter is located different on the mark 2 engine. also the rocker cover is different
