1.4 SX gearbox

   Does anyone know if the ratios in an early 1.4 SX 'box are the same as the 1.1 or the Furio/VTR?
   
   The Citroen brochure I have doesn't give ratios, just performance figures.
   
   As the acceleration figures for SX and Furio are the same, I suspect the latter but would just like it confirming if poss please.

   Thanks Ryan. I had read that but it doesn't answer my question.
   
   I've been offered a box out of a 5-door Saxo 1.4 SX which isn't mentioned in the charts.
   
   As it's a less 'sporty' model than the Furio, I wasn't sure if they'd used the 1.1 box or the Furio one.

   Have you downloaded the original excel spreadsheet that the guy used to calculate those figures?
   
   I'm not sure if the gearbox is listed on that or not.
   
   If not, then you need to find out the ratio's as you probably said already - I'm afraid I don't know where to look for that.
   
   Somebody else might know.
   
   On a side not, have you been offered it really cheap? Otherwise I'd just get a 1.1 box (I have one sat in my garage for sale lol).

   He says at the end of the speed data that they are all the ratios he has so not sure the spreadsheet will help without the ratios.
   
   The box is cheap but no point if it's the same as a Furio.
   
   I may yet have to take you up on your 1.1 Where abouts are you?
