Rear Beam Bolts

    What's the best way to tighten these badboys?

    on stands, no wheels? and what do they need to be torqued to?

    remember to tighten the rear beam on before you go out and bed the brakes in!

    Also make sure you have wheels on the car before taking it out.

    You talking about the 4 bolts holding the beam to the chassis?

    I did them as tight as I could when the car was on stands, then checked them when the car was on the floor and once again after a short drive!

    I would keep checking yours as you have hardcore bushes y0!

    As long as they are not loose then it would be ok, its just nice to know they are tight.

    nah jam a ratchet against the side of the car on the nut and do it up outside like.

    i use an impact gun to do mine up, havn't come loose yet. well saying that i havn't checked them lol

    My car is 15 miles from me and I just can't remember if it's possible to tighten them on my own!

    Mole grips on bottom nut and socket on the top.

    Around 100 Nm should be okay.

    I sheared a bolt tightening it too much.
