Leaking!! Help

    I got into my VTR this morning after a night of relatively heavy rain and got dripped on as I went round the first corner.

    Turns out there was some water in the interior light, that dripped out from the edges onto me.

    Question is, what's the most likely ingress point? Is it likely to be around the aerial, or more sunroof related?

    Any help appreciated.

    could be either.. mine was the sunroof seal and it filled my interior light but a mates was the aerial base and did the same thing, just check and seal both to be on the safe side

    As above, it's almost standard trim on saxos to have a leaky sunroof or aerial lol. Would be worth resealing both whilst your at it

    Ah, OK. I didn't know if maybe they were prone to one or the other.

    mine was the ariel base, i just tightend it up, was fine, but sealing would be recomended.

    get the silicone sealant out

    Best get myself some sealant then I guess.

    I'll try tightening first though, just in case.

    I'm assuming there's a nut on the inside of the car then, simply peel back the headlining, or is it covered by the sunroof controls?

    If so, are they easy enough to remove?

    Also check your sunroof drains, blocked up the water will back up and give you an early shower
