im little confused recently my gaitor clip broke on my cv all the grease came out witch is still there freaking hard to get it all off...

any way there was a knocking sound ( i thought due to the lack of grease... like a rotating knocking ) any ways thats not what im too worried about but it mayb the part of problem

driving yestoday now i have a weird rotation whirle/squeek kinda sound mostly when i turn right... Noww this sound and the problem i had was on the passenger side ive taken a look down there i though it was the arch rubbing so i fixed that took the whip for a test and its still there reckon i could need a new part?? BUUTTTT my question is witch part would u think i need isit a new CV bearing joint boot what isit lol ???

thanks for taking time to read my post any help would be great

Just fit two new driveshafts each side.

£120, and replacing one of the most common failure items on a Saxo down to 0 miles.

    /thread

Also I'd be more concerned about your little noise than you are - in my first car the passenger driveshaft physically snapped in half when it was failing - in a car park thank god - meaning there was nothing to connect the gearbox to the wheel and leaving me standed,

Hate to think what would happen if your shaft snapped at speed.

Also sounds like you're not really sure what you're doing as you've asked about a 'CV bearing' which does not exist - its a constant velocity joint, and the boot as im sure you are aware is just a rubber casing that keeps grease inside of the joint from escaping as well as preventing shite from entering.

Things like driveshafts your dealing with something serious, and you're taking risks every time you drive it.

Get it sorted straight away, and take it to a garage if you're not sure what you're doing.
