Strange/Annoying humming/slightly growling noise

Would anybody possibly be able to diagnose from the following.

When the car is driving at any speed in any gear it makes a weird humming noise (not a whine). this noise gets louder when I'm steering to the right but then when steering to the left the noise disappears..

Initial thoughts is a wheel bearing but I reckon its too loud you can hear it over the engine. Also I have recently had an MOT so if it was that bad it would of been picked up.

Any thoughts? Been told it could be the diff? But I hope to god it isnt.. I've had my fair share of gearbox changes in the past 6 months.

Warped hub maybe jack car up and spin wheel to see if it runs true, or maybe arch liner

    Might be a driveshaft?

I've had both drive shafts changed in the past 4 months ish.. had plenty of them pop so I know that noise. I don't think it would be an arch liner cos well its hard to explain you can feel it feel the wait.. the other half said it was like something spinning.

Its gradually getting louder and when the car is hot its louder.
