rear bumper paint flaking ????

   Hi, i noticed that on my rear bumper the paint has sort of started flaking off. would i need a respray to get it back to normal??? if so how much would htis cost to have done??

   for it to flake like that i would suspect its a non orrigional rear bumper so mybe its had a crash at somepoint and then a new bumper put on thats not been preped right e.g sanded right to hold the paint etc... makign it flake off easy coz it shouldnt flake like that at all, respray for a bumper would be around £100

   m8 if the bumper is flaking its because it wasnt sprayed right, normally this happens when people apply laquer once the paint had dried when you should really apply it whilst its still tacky this way it bonds to the paint more so it doesnt flake. i've unfortunately got a little flake in near enough same place as your first bumper probally cost me around 40 50 pound fix as the bodyshop wants 70 per bumper and he will more than likely have to respray half the bumper to blend it
