Replacing washer motor.

My wiper jet spray things don't work. Assume it's the motor? Idk, if anyone has diagnostic checks to eliminate other issues that would be cool.

    Anyways, found this guide: Here.

Sooo, isit possible to do this without jacking up the car etc. As I have no jack and no tools to take a wheel off and no experience in taking a wheel off lol... The most mechanical thing I have done it change my fuel pump. also isit hard to change the jet things on my bonnet? One has polish stuck init and only one jet hole works lol.

    Anyone got an idea? Thanks,

    Ry

Without a jack and tools your going to struggle tbh. One you get to it its just a pull out unplug then plug the new one in and push it back in. Easy if you have the tools.

grab a tiny pin and stick it in the whole of the washer jet to free it of polish than adjust direction with the pin. if you get someone to press the washers on with out the car running but ignition on you should hear a whizzing noise from washer pump if you listen where the washer bottle is if not then it dud and you need a new one

Or another way of unblocking washer nozzles is to go to a garage & use an air line.

it is possible to do it without jacking up the car, but its just a lot harder as you have a lot less room. Also as said, you can unblock them. But if you want to replace them, get some mist jets.

The washer motor doesn't make a noise, just the wipers come on.

I have access to compressed air, (my Dad owns a furniture spray shop).I've realised that it's only a case of taking off a wheel.. Surely someone I know can lend me a jack and a socket set.

Might give it a go this weekend, if I can get the motor out alright then I'll sort it.
