Don't speak too soon Kev.
I bought a Piper from a member off here who claimed it was for a Mark 2. Was no where near clearing the filter and had to do the conversion. My advice would be to look for a Raceland 4-1 which will clear the filter and also has two Lambda holes for the mk2 ECU. Even when you relocate for the Piper, a Mk2 still doesn't run right because it only has one Lambda and its right at the very bottom next to the centre pipe, it makes a Mk2 overfuel lots. The Raceland can be picked up new for £160/170, its alot cheaper but the irony is that the car runs faster coz it can fuel so much better due to the mani being specifically suited for mark 2s. All of this is speaking from experience, and Kev if you remember this is why I had all the hassle with various centre pipes and underfloor CATs and the car still not passing an emissions test no matter what. |

Was gonna say, thought all Piper manis fit on the MK2, maybe yours wasn't actually a Piper then mate?
