removing rear beam help

    Im going to be removing the rear beam but mister haynes dosn't think that a home mechanic can do it so leaves it out, whats needed to get it off ?

    ps all brake lines ect are stripped off already

    4 bolts that point upwards...

    And it's on the floor..

    Jack it up and put on axle stands

    literally 4 bolts mate.
    remove the middle and rear exhaust, make sure all brake lines are out of the way, and drop the bolts. done and done.

    i only had to remove my back box

    4 bolts which go under the seats and 2 in the boot

    nice one, half the jobs done as most is off, back box, brake lines ect

    I did mine on tuesday morning. It takes longer to get all the bits off the old beam and put onto the new one than it does to take the beam off the car and put the new one in. It really is super easy.

    Infact, i think it took longer to get my tools out than it took to do the job!!!!
