Cheep brand ? Warped hub causing more heat? sticky caliper

How can i text if i got warped hub/hubs?

    use a DTI gauge

Could be a sticky or siezed piston in the caliper.

Have the pads worn down that side more than the other?

Mine did this before and it was obvious as the disk was glowing red when I pulled up at night and I could smell it!

    non std alloys ?
not a good fit on hub centre to centralise them --so under braking they move out of centre and cause a wobble on steering

but as suggested above sticky cailpers-cheap parts excessive heat build up is the more usual reason

dont buy cheap discs, dont use them as hard and you should be fine.
though a sticking caliper is possible. it is both discs or just one?

Id be checking the calipers first, probably find the inner pad is fried and the outer is nearly new..

I use cheap disks on my track only car all the time and they are fine.

My first point of call would be to measure the disk and hub run out. The measure disk thickness at several points to see if you have pad deposits

Thanks guys I will check on the weekdn all the points you guys said

Another thing might be related to the warped dics is when I say pulling upto the light put my foot on the brake and it will feel like its braking then not then breaking if you no what I mean its like a kind of judder when I brake!?!

usually its down to overheated pads depositing a layer of material unevenly over the disc surface

Soo you think its down to the pads?

copper grease on the hub can cause disk run out, make sure the hub(where the disk sits) is clean

Right just took the pads out the near side and the one that goes into the piston looks like its uneven worn? how do i solve this???

The sliders need cleaning first, probs caked in dust and gunk preventing it from working correctly
