Brake upgrade

   I've got a 52 plate mk2 vtr and Does anyone know what the best brake upgrade is?

   266 setup is pretty good. 283 gti6 setup is even better but you wil need aftermarket alloys so they fit.

   That means nothing to me lol is te 266 the size of the disc and will that still fit with my vts alloys

   Search is your friend has being coverd do many times!!!
   
   Yes 266 is the size of disk , this is the best compromise to go for as you won't see much difference by fitting the 283 which weigh alot more
   
   Pads, disks, fluid and to an extent brake lines used all play a part in brake performance

   For the VTR I would just look at getting upgraded discs and pads.
